To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet our sweet Slack.
Slack is full grown and about 22 pounds. We believe he is about 1 1/2 yrs. Male neutered. Healthy, fully vaccinated, microchiped and registered.
He is one of our rescues from Baja, Mexico. He lived in a home where there was too many dogs, more than the owner could care for. Most were very hungry and malnourished, flea infested and not cared for properly. We rescued Slack and a couple of others from the home in July 2009.

Slack is a great little guy, has been in foster care since September and has shown to be a great companion. He truly is a handsome little fella and even though he lacks obedience he has the important things down. He is house broken, LOVES to ride in cars, walks on the leash (can pull a bit), is very dog and people friendly and he is not a barker.

He would benefit from someone who has time on their hands to help him learn how to sit and pay attention. For the most part, he stays next to his foster mom and minds himself very well. He is full of kisses and smiles and would be a great companion for both a human or doggy friend! He is a young happy guy.

If you would like to meet with him please call us to schedule a playdate or visit one of our adoption events. In order to meet him we do require an adoption application to be filled prior to scheduling a playdate in order for us to know a little about you and help you make the best match possible.
