Meet pinky!

10/18/23 pupdate:
The boys left Casa de ARWOB and are now are in a personal foster home, yay! the following is their foster mom report card:
"They are exhausted and have put themselves to bed. You are right…such good boys. They really are such good boys. And so sweet. They really are respectful to my dogs and don’t react at all when they get “corrected.” Every toy is out of the basket and all over the place! Yes, lots of tennis ball fuzz floating around.Pinky and The Brain are smart, sweet, well-behaved boys. Here’s how they spend each day: eat really fast, chase each other around the yard over and over and over, wrestle, nap, repeat.

They love their crate either together or alone. They make little woofy noises when something interests them or they see their reflection in the mirror and growl a lot when they’re biting each other’s ears, but are pretty quiet otherwise. They love human attention and lap sitting but are not needy. Only a couple of accidents in the house so far. They are very good at going outside before after naps/overnight and meal time. They love toys of all kinds and chasing balls. Both are very respectful with other dogs and take correction quickly when they step over the line, which is rare. Overall, these two boys are gems. They would love a dog friend to hang out with, or, adopt them both!

note: The pups are great with any size dog, however, they of course are more weary of their surroundings when large dogs run towards them because they like all small breeds are worried they will be stepped on but they are like big dogs, and cats too!

Their Rescue story:

We rescued Pinky along with his brother brain (Pinky & The brain! - cartoon reference ha ha) and their mama Billy. Mom is a white terripoo (poodle/terrier) full grown at 10 pounds and currently brain is 5 pounds and his brother pinky 7 pounds. They don't need to be adopted together. They are the most social, sweet and funny little dudes. Expected to be full grown brain 10-15 pounds and pinky 13-18 pounds. The little family was rescued off the streets of baja full of mange and skin infections. They have been treated and their coats look amazing now! Ready to be adopted. Pinky is neutered BUT brain is not. We need to wait until December to neuter him so we are looking for an Adopter for brain aka brainy who is local to San Diego who can take him to his neuter appointment in December hence has to be adopted locally. Neuter fee is of course included with adoption fee At the vet clinic we partner with In San Diego.
the boys are great with humans, dogs and cats.  crate trained and sleep well through the night.
