Adopt ’Fuji’ ‼️
This handsome little fella is approx 5.5 Months old and 20 pounds. Likely will reach mid 30 pounds full grown making him a great medium size dog. He along with his 4 siblings were rescued 6/24/23 from a local “rescue group turned hoarder” in baja where dogs where kept in overcrowded conditions and not receiving proper daily care nor medical care.
Thankfully, that situation was closed down and several rescuers were involved to get those rescues to better hands. Fuji and his siblings were lucky to have been been chosen by a rescuer in baja who took them home to nurture and she then seeked help from a rescue group to take them in. The apple litter was then brought to San Diego mid July and have been in foster care waiting for their ”Gotcha day” to arrive.
Fuji’s sisters were adopted pretty soon after arrival but his brothers and him STILL wait for that human(s) to choose them. In the meantime Fuji is a lucky duck and has his own foster mom and foster home who sends this update about him:
Fuji is doing well with the kitties, but they don’t want to play with him and he would love a friend.
*Super friendly but can be nervous at first when meeting new people.
*loves to play fetch
*his Cow (favorite toy and taking naps with it)
*Loves going on walks(still working on leash pulling)
*Playful and silly like all pups
*Enjoys quality time with his humans
*Crate trained for the most part, still working on it as he may whine first couple minutes.
*Knows to sit, down, high-five, paw, place, leave it (working on stay and come)
Fuji is excellent with dogs and safe around cats. He is of course good with children and humans but can be shy when first meeting unless he is at adoption events he LOVES the hoopla/excitement of events and seeing his brothers again‼️♥️
