Meet Bella!
Update 4/6/26: Here is what Bella’s foster family has to say about her:
“Bella is such a cute little bug! She is a petite kitty so is on the smaller side but, despite being a bit smaller than her foster siblings, can definitely hold her own when playing or wrestling. She’s such an adorable and social cat who loves following the group around so is usually right at my side or next to the other kitties. That being said, she’s also pretty independent so is totally comfortable hanging out solo for a bit if she wants some alone time. She’s incredibly easy to have here, is very good about playing just with her toys (versus everything else around the house, ha!), and just wants to be loved on and to play with a wand toy every now and then. She gets along so well with the other cats and is an absolute gem of a kitten all around. Whoever adopts her will be so lucky to have her!”
Original Rescue Story:
This little itty bitty senorita comes to us from Tijuana Mexico. She was rescued by an indie rescuer, who tried taking her to a local shelter, but was denied entry. ARWOB was contacted and since we had an open bathroom at Casa de ARWOB (ha, ha!), we said we would take her into our care!
Bella is such a sweetheart and it is too sweet for words. She has not been around dogs or cats yet, but we are certain she would be great with them. She adores humans and is very outgoing and loving. She is tiny with a body of a 2-3 month old kitten, but she is likely older in the 4-5 month range. It’s hard to know. She did come in with lots of intestinal parasites, which have been treated, so hopefully her growth will no longer be stunted. However, adopters should know that she could just end up being a smaller cat even when full grown. For now, she has been completely vetted. She tested negative for FeLV/FIV and has been spayed, which is why our adoption fee is higher than city shelters, who do not test for retroviral diseases.
If a home check, landlord approval, or the adoption fee is not a determining factor for you to adopt, please submit an online application for Bella today! Once we receive your application, we will either email or text you to schedule a phone call to further discuss your application. If you do not hear from us within 24-72 hours, please reach out. You can find out website and all the information you need at www.arwob.org.
