To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Marty, a 2 year old Tabby/DSH who was rescued from the shelter where he came in as a stray. Our guy is great with other cats (he lets little adult cats beat him up without a fuss!), dogs, and children. Marty is a rather large cat and is about the size of a small dog. Nonetheless, he is such a lover with a super sweet, friendly, and easy going type of personality. He will follow you everywhere most of the time and is such a great companion. He doesn't say much, but he is well-mannered around the house, using the litter box everytime. Marty came into the shelter with a tail injury and now that it has healed, he has a small stub of a tail that is almost like a wild lynx's.
