To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

This is Bella. She is a 2 and a half year old yellow lab/pointer/ maybe ridgeback mix. (shelter paperwork says lab/pointer...but the behaviorist thinks there is definitely ridgeback in her too....) She is a sweet, shy lovable girl. She is low to medium energy, loves other dogs and walks very well on a leash. She has had a rough life so it takes her a little time to trust people, but once she trusts you she is your best friend for life. Bella gave birth to 9 puppies in the shelter and weaned them a week ago. She is doing well and is very healthy. Anyone interested in meeting Bella can call Pam at 760-525-6293.
