To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

About Penelope
Status: Adopted! Species: Cat General Color: Gray, Blue or Silver Tabby Color: Tabby Current Age: 15 Years 1 Month (best estimate)	Declawed: No Housetrained: Yes

Penelope is a 5 month old female DSH kitten who has hearing impairment. She came to the central Department of Animal Control and one of the vet techs fell in love with her and her sister who were to young to be put to sleep and saved at the last minute. Her sibling was adopted and now only Penelope is left. Her foster parent realized with time that Penelope was deaf as she doesn't react to loud noise. She is already spayed, litter trained, and up to date on vaccines.

This is what her foster parent has to say:
She views our house as her personal playground. She is playful yet purrs continually when held/pet. She is looking for a home with other pets (preferably cats AND dogs as she loves to have multiple playmates. She is not extremely vocal but is known to wonder around the house meowing if she cannot find her current friend (because they wondered out of sight and she cannot hear). She is quite unabashed by load noises (including drums) and just looking for someone who wants a furry friend.

Penelope's adoption fee is waived to her adopters. We are looking for a home with dogs and/or cats as that would be the perfect forever home for our sweet cute penelope.
