To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Josie is a 1 year old Basset mix. She is a sweet little girl who will instantly wag her tail and approach you in a friendly way as soon as she is given attention. She is crate trained, rides well in the car and loves to play with other dogs. In fact, she gets along so well with them that she will play gently with them, share her toys, and rest calmly next to them. We have introduced her to cats and although she was afraid of them initially, she is becoming more accustomed to their presence and will settle down right away.

Josie is a young, exuberant little girl who certainly will actively engage in play and other physical activity, but overall she's an easy-going girl who is more than willing to rest near her favorite person's side. As she is very calm and the perfect size, she would also be perfect for either an apartment or home setting. She is UTD, spayed, has a clean bill of health, has been dewormed.... and can't wait to find her forever home!
