To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Luigi is a 1 1/2 year old Terrier/Schnauzer mix who was rescued after he was found lost and disoriented on a busy road. He was very dirty, but he looked healthy. Luigi needs an adopter who has researched the dog breed and understands terriers need discipline and structure. He is a sweet, friendly little guy who LOVES to play with other dogs and would enjoy a home who will keep him entertained and not just home alone for long periods of time. Someone who will take him for normal outings like walks, hikes, dog parks or has other happy and playful dog(s) in the home he can entertain himself with. He is a smart cute little guy who will make a wonderful companion for the right active home or a large family who will keep him on his toes.

Unfortunately, like most terriers, he likes to dig, a behavior that can be detered and eliminated. We think he has been doing it for lack of stimulation and plain boredom.

If you are a family who is active and/or understand the terrier's breed and believe he would be a great family addition please feel free to file an application online, we are seeking foster parents, foster to adopt or adoptive parents for luigi as soon as possible.

As of 6/18/11 he has been living in a home with 2 adults who work full time and who don't have the time to give him what he need' as well as a home with no other pets to keep him company.
