Skipper is a 3 year old Lab mix who weighs 45 pounds. She is a quiet girl who was once very shy. Here's what her current foster parents have to say about her now:
"Wow, what a transformation Skipper is making in such a short period of time! Skipper has come from being very shy into a happy, playful, attention-loving girl. She is very good with other dogs of all sizes and is very playful with them. She’s happy and active and loves to be with her dog friends.
Skipper really enjoys being brushed and scratched behind the ears. She walks great on a leash and seems to be getting more confident in new situations. Skipper is extremely smart and is easy to train. She responds well to treats and praise. She would be fantastic at Doggy Obedience School. Skipper is house trained and likes being indoors or outdoors. She is crate trained and travels well in the car. She only barks is there is someone strange near the yard. She does well when we are not a home, just naps and hangs out with the other dogs. She does not seem to like cats, but I think it’s because she thinks they are going to take her food.
She would do best in a home with at least one other dog. She is becoming very fond of people and wants to be around us wherever we are! She’s not completely comfortable with people yet, but we can tell that she really wants to be. She is making progress every day."
