To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Say hello to Mugsy! He is 2-3 year old Lab/Terrier who has the most adorable underbite. He is medium-sized at about 25 pounds.

He gets along well with adults, children, and other dogs. He is calm, quiet, and very friendly. He is crate-trained and very playful with his dog friends and people who offer him toys. Mugsy is just a very silly, goofy kid who is active, but also very passive at times. He does have his crazy moments, but will calm down. He's just your typical, happy-go-lucky fellow. He enjoys riding in the car, is okay on the leash, and is housebroken. In terms of barking, Mugsy does have a big bark but willl only vocalize unless he is provoked. Because of this, he might be a good guard/alert dog. He does great at the dog parks, beaches, and hiking. He also likes playing with his toys in the yard during the day.

Overall Mugsy would be a perfect family dog. He can definitely be adopted into a multiple dog family or simply be the only dog. He gets along great with his person. He can be active at times, so he will need structure. He needs someone who knows how to teach obedience and has experience with training.
