To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Mya is a 3 month old what we believe Mastiff/Lab/Shep mix. She was found with her sister, Brandy and another one of their siblings in a terrible situation. The other was found dead while Mya was found hung... our rescuer immediately removed her and her sister from that situation. Now, they are acclimating well to home life and learning how to settle down around strangers. They are somewhat shy with new people at first, but once they sniff them, they calm down and allow them to pet them. Among the two though, Mya appears to identify most with people and will actually be more outgoing with them than Brandy. She's also more peaceful as she prefers to stay out of confrontations and sometimes runs away to avoid them. She is a quick-learner and very intelligent. She is the largest of the two.

So far the foster mom has been able to leave them alone for long periods of time with them destroying anything in the house. They actually prefer to sleep and wait for their person to come home at which point they will greet them very excitedly. The two sisters are still pups and are still learning. They are currently being potty-trained, leash-trained and just learning how to be inside the house.
