To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Back in May 2011 a friend of our group witnessed how Ashley was thrown from a running pick-up truck in her neighborhood (Fracc. Buenaventura in Ensenada). She was malnourished, with several cuts in her body (we think from knives, as if some guys were having fun with her :( ). She could not use her right back leg and she was very afraid of people in general. The rescuer took her and has been keeping her indoors.

Saluki's temperament:
Inspite of her rough experience with humans Saluki is now a happy, playful lean and tall gal. She loves to run and play with other dogs, although she can also be very observant and just lay calmly in a central spot and relax. She does well in car rides and just sits and is a great co-pilot! Walks well on the leash and is just a silly girl.

Ideally she would be adopted into a home with another dog as she really seeks their attention. She is up to date with vaccines and de-worming and only needs to be spayed. Her leg is back in full use and it seems to be perfectly OK.
