Meet Matthew, A sweet and loving young adult who we believe to be 4-5 yrs old.
Matthew's story: He belonged to a couple who moved from California to Ensenada, Mexico to retire and took their loving dog with them, he loved them and they loved him and cared for him very well. His human dad drove him around everywere and were very good companions to each other, sadly, his dad passed away and his mom was not able to care for him very well so she relinquished him to one of ARWOB's fantastic veterinarians in Baja. He is now in foster care with a volunteer in Baja and is looking for either a foster parent in San Diego or even better a family to call his own.
Matthew's coat was very matted when we first took over for him so he has his regular Old English Sheepdog short hair cut which he appreciated at the time but now wih the winter upon us if we found the right doggy sweater I am sure he would appreciate it even more!
He is neutered, UTD on all medical and ready for a home. He seems to know basic comands and is very smart and well behaved according to his fosters. He LOVES car rides and likes other dogs.
