Meet Maxwell!
Maxwell, was rescued in the streets of Ensenada, Mexico late 2011. He was found underweight and flea infested. His rescuer and foster parent lives in Mexico and has Nothing but great things to say about her little foster baby.
He is VERY well behaved and a joy to have around. He is the perfect small to medium size. Obedient, loving, playful and outgoing. With a shy streak to him when he first meets strangers but a quick treat or pet and he will be your best friend!
Maxwell is a quiet dog, RARELY barks inside or outside, if he does is to warn you something is going on. As we all know that is a rare characteristic of the terrier breed making him the best and ideal for a home with working adopters or a family dog as he is very docil and well behaved safe around children. He loves to play with other dogs, but depending on their personality he will greet them with insecurity and once he feels safe around him he will enjoy playing chase or tug of war. He is also good around cats, but never left home unsupervised with the kitties but ignores them when they all intereact in the home. He is a perfect walking, hiking or maybe even running partner as he has the perfect muscles and legs to do so.
Maxwell is a handsome dog just waiting to bring love and happiness to a family who will promise to love and protect him forever.
Negative things about Maxwell - He jumps fairly high when he gets really excited e.i. greeting you back from work and although not an escape artist he would find himself on the table stealing some yummy food if you leave it there.
Maxwell is crate trained and loves his crate, travels well in the car, loves to go for walks and is a quiet dog.
