About Loby | |
Meet Loby. She is a friendly Lab/Shep mix who is fully grown at 50lbs. She gets along great with people although she may be a little shy upon first meeting, especially men. Loby shows great progress with guys if they take it slow with her and allow her to feel secure around them. She does eventually become very attached to her person and LOVES to cuddle and just be babied. This does take a little more time with men, but she is SUCH a SWEET HEART that her fear doesn't even matter after some time.
She is crate-trained and will go in no problem. She loves to go out on her walks and explore the neighborhood - she would be grateful to anyone willing to take her on 2-3 30 minute walks a day, or go hiking, and running. She gets along great with her dogs - she engages them in play and likes to nuzzle with them. She lives with both female and male dogs who are large and small in size. She is not aggressive towards cats although she can become curious of them. She is VERY food motivated, and already knows sit, lie down, and shake. She can very easily learn other entertaining tricks and is very quickly learning how to spin. Loby currently sleeps on a dog bed next to her foster mom's bed, and holds her pee and poop through the night. She is house-broken and will run to and sit next to the 'out' door if she has to go.
