To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Mila. Her rescuer reached out to us recently asking us to help her find this sweet gal a home. She was found around her rescuers apartment in Tijuana just hanging around, knowing that there might be someone nearby to feed her. For a week, the rescuer observed her and decided to take her into her care one day when she found Mila lying under a bush... starving. This was in January and since then, the rescuer has tried desperately to reach out to the small animal community in Tijuana to find her a proper home. Despite her efforts, no one wanted Mila in a community which prizes pure and small breed dogs only.

Her rescuer reports that Mila has been getting along very well. Mila lives in an apartment, so she would LOVE, more than anything, to have a yard to play and romp in all day. She gets along with the rescuer's other male dog, although she can be a little dominant sometimes, so we would need to go to a home with a firm handler. She LOVES to sunbathe all day and just be in the company of her people.
