"Simon says, "Let's play fetch!"
Simon is our new foster dog. He is an adult dog (about 3 years young) who weighs about 17 pounds and is likely a dachshund beagle mix. Simon, while very energetic, channels his energy appropriately into playing with toys and games of fetch. He gets along fine with other dogs and cats, but really prefers humans as only they can throw the ball. Simon also enjoys walks and does pretty well but still has a few things to learn. He is occasionally distracted by interesting smells and starts to go his own way, but he is easily corrected. Simon has good house manners, is crate trained, almost potty trained, and does not chew on things that he shouldn't. Simon learns quickly and is both food and toy motivated. Simon would make a great companion for an active family or individual with or without other pets. Simon loves to be with his human(s) and play fetch. Did I mention Simon likes to play fetch? A tennis ball, a human to throw it, two square meals a day, a warm bed and Simon is in heaven. A super easy dog to please. Check him out at the next adoption event.
