To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Mila, a lovely young Spaniel mix:
Mila was not very well cared for by her inattentive owner and was allowed to roam the streets so she was very dirty and covered with ticks & fleas. She was very shy around humans and other dogs. Mila's owner agreed to relinquish her to one of our rescuers and now you can see this pup's beautiful clean white coat!

Mila has made great progress and is getting more comfortable around humans and other dogs. She is still shy when meeting new people but os very sweet and loving once she gets to know you. Currently she lives in a foster home where she loves to play with their puppy. She is indifferent to cats but would probably like and play with them if properly introduced. She is crate trained and is the perfect size for an adopter in a condo or apartment. Mila is a lap dog for sure and loves to sit on the couch or bed so she has a good view of all the interesting things going on around her!
