Squiggy is a cuddle-bug!
Squiggy was found hiding underneath a pickup truck in a parking lot. He was dirty, thirsty, alone and very sad. Our rescuer coaxed this scared little guy out from under the truck and got him the medical attention he needed to get healthy after being covered in fleas and dehydrated.
Squiggy has always been a quiet, snuggly little guy who enjoys human companionship, despite his shyness. He loves to be hugged, and even from the start, would cuddle up and lay his head down on anyone's shoulder.
At first, Squiggy was a shy, sad little dog who didn't want to play at all; he wasn't interested in playing with other dogs, or with people. Now he will play with other dogs, big and small, and doesn't mind sharing his food.
He doesn't bark much at all, and if he does, it is only because he hears another dog barking. Squiggy is crate trained and unless he has a human to cuddle up with, he likes to nap inside his crate. He is learning to walk on a leash and is good with children and adults.
