Patrick has a mellow disposition and is not a barker. He is great around other dogs. He has a beautiful long coat. Patrick will need training to teach him proper doggie "house manners" because the owner who relinquished him kept him outside most of the time. Patrick is very intelligent an will be easy to train. This tranquil boy just needs an adopter who will give him lots of love!
Patrick has no history of living with other dogs, cats or children in the home so we don't know how he is with cats and the only experience we have of patrick with children is with children who say "HI" to him at adoption events.
Patrick is healthy and looks great especially for a back yard dog who was somewhat neglected and doesn't really look his age.
We are seeking an adopter who knows the Collie breed and knows all about their grooming, diet needs, activity and disposition.
We are desperately seeking a foster home for Patrick until he can find his forever home and/or an adopter who might be interested in first fostering him to make sure he will be the right family member for them and them for him. We are looking for a family that is seeking a member to have for the rest of his life knowing he is a senior dog.
