Leon was rescued off the streets of Tijuana the early week of February, laying down on a side walk tired and sun bathing. The poor guy was wagging his tail every time someone would walk by him hoping they would offer him a meal.
One of the persons walking by was an animal rescuer and when she saw how skinny and mangie (literally no hair on his body except for a trail of patchy hair) he was, she offered him some food and he followed her around the block where she entered a veterinary clinic and asked the vet to board him until she ws able to seek help. Once he was networked, ARWOB found out about him and decided to take him into the group. Its been a few months and these are pictures a few weeks into his first rescue. He was seen by a vet in SD and has been boarding while on treatment.
Today he is looking very handsome, BUT two of his "before" pictures are below so you can see how far he has come!
