Sweet Maxine was rescued as a stray trying to eat something stuck on the road in the middle of the street. She was in imminent danger of being run over. She was covered with tons of fleas and a good amount of ticks and she does have some staining on her teeth. Happily for Maxine, a good samaritan rescued her from the dangers of the streets and ARWOB has stepped in to try to find her a forever home.
Her foster parent says, "Maxine is a playful & energetic "señorita" who gets along well with other dogs. She integrated in with dogs at home with no problems. She also shows traits of an alpha female. I do not know about cats but i would say NO cats for Maxine since she has learned to bark at them from my own dogs. She is housebroken and sleeps indoors in the laundry room along with 3 other dogs. She lets me know every morning that she needs to go potty by little scratches on the door. She loves to lick toes, her human toes that is! She also loves to lick the body lotion that you apply after a shower. Maxine is not leash or crate trained yet so she will need guidance and training in this area."
