This GORGEOUS, red haired girl is such a sweetheart! Her foster mom says that she is well socialized and just a lovely young girl. Nothing would make Mindy happier than to find a family to love her and give her the forever home she so deserves.
FIV + Kitties CAN and DO live long NORMAL lives... granted their immune system can be weak compared to others, but the ideal home for her would be a family who is looking to have ONLY one cat or someone who has other FIV + kitties at home. She is medically and behaviorally a WONDERFUL CAT, a great social, playful loving companion and we would love your help to see that she receives a HAPPY ending to her story.
Adopters should NOT be scared of FIV and Mindy's status and know that most FIV + kitties live a healthy & normal life up until their 15-18yrs of life. So, please, do NOT let this deter you from adopting an FIV positive Feline Friend.
Her current foster mom has this to say about her: She is calm, docile, loves to play, and loves to be cuddled when she wants to cuddle. Although she has not had direct contact with any children in her foster home, she sees them from afar through the door and is curious as she watches them. She is quiet as she watches dogs through the door also. On occassion she has "played "with another kitty through the screen door.
She loves to play with her feathered wands, stuffed mice, balls with or without a a bell, likes to climb cat trees and loves sleeping or napping in fabric houses. She loves to look out the windows and to sleep in your bed. She is litter box trained and has not had any accidents outside of her box.
Mindy is UTD on her vaccinations and is dewormed and spayed.
