To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet sweet Sugar!

Sugar was exited from the local SD shelter along with her brother spice who was adopted back in december so Sugar is the last one standing. She and her brother came in to the shelter with mange back in October which they were treated for and have been in excellent health since.

Sugar is a small breed who is just the most amazing loving cuddle bug you will ever meet She has a fantastic outgoing personality around dogs, cats, people, LOVES children and one of her foster homes had many small children in the home.
She LOVES car rides, does well on leash and is crate trained.

Foster update: Sugar is fantastic! She has attended Camp Run a Mutt Kearny Mesa and does fantastic and at home she is wonderful with 2 large dogs. She is submissive but definitely loves to play! When she's not romping around all she wants to do is be with her human and snuggle with them. She is an all around lovely pup who just loves to be loved!
