To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Hello! My name is Loki and i am a full grown pure breed husky, although, I think the breeders who sold me to my owner lied because I am much much bigger about the size of a malamute at 70lbs. I found my self in trouble and in danger of ending up at the animal control shelter because my owners just didn't spend the time and energy on me while I was a puppy to receive obedience training and they didn't spend time with me and left me in the yard all alone very frequently. The fence was very weak and i escaped a few times to say 'Hi Neighboor!" but my parents didn't appreciate it that and were afraid they would complain, that is when i found my self in trouble of ending at the shelter.

I really hope I can find a family who will be happy to spend time with me and help me learn so that I become a better dog, I am VERY smart and I know I can learn fast, if someone could just give me a chance. I do LOVE to go to dog parks and meet friends and I love humans, although I am big and do jump to say HELLO so, I may scare little humans or be too strong for them, unless someone helps me learn, then I will be a great friend to them!
