Penny is a rescue from Tijuana where she had been living on a roof with two other dogs before our rescuer found out about her. She was without food and water for some time and had very little hair. At first, she was very fearful of people, but now that she has been living in a foster home for a few months, she has completely changed! She is now living with other dogs and even cats (although she does chase them!). She is a sweetheart with people, walks everyday on the leash, and is looking great! She has all her fur back and is now very fat and happy! She's a playful girl, sleeps in the crate at night, and is just so wonderful.
Her foster mom has this to say about her:
She loves taking walks and is ery good on a leash. We go on walks 3-4 times a day. She does get a little scared of loud noises or car horns.
Very non-aggressive
Good with other dogs and kids
Likes to be part of the family
House trained but needs walks. (She doesn't always tell you when she needs to go.)
We crate her when she's alone in the house because she can get into things (chewing shoes mostly).
She is a sweet affectionate dog who will make a great pet and is dreaming of finding her forever homel
