Meet Bogart!
This sweet boy was adopted from ARWOB two years ago and has been in, what he hoped would be, his forever home since then. Sadly, his owner has recently passed away and so Bogart is coming back to us so that we can find another loving home for him. Might that be with you?
Originally, he came in as a stray to the shelter and ARWOB exited him. He is a very sweet dog who loves to be around his people, he gets along well with dogs, but has not been cat tested. He is great with people and would love to find a family who is looking for a sweet, outgoing, and loving family dog.
The notes below are from his foster family, written before he was adopted:
Bogart ("Bobo") is a super sweet little man who lives to be with his humans. He would do well in a variety of homes, but he definitely prefers humans over other dog friends. Sometimes when his foster dog-siblings are playing too rough, he gets a little stressed. He really enjoys walks, but he is calm and low-energy, so he doesn't require an abundant amount of activity. He would be happy to curl up next to you on the couch to watch t.v. or on the floor beside you while you cook. He would prefer a home where he is not left alone for too long during the day; he still tends to get anxious when separated from his humans. Bogart is very protective and is an amazing watch dog, but he rarely barks. He is house-trained and crate-trained, walks well on a leash, listens to instructions, respects property, sheds VERY little, likes all people and dogs, and loves to cuddle and kiss! Please meet Bogart and spend some time with him; it's difficult to not fall in love!
