To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Lizzie!

Lizzie is an ADORABLE and oh so very sweet little terrier mix who is a perfect small size and a great lap dog! She is a smart girl who was able to get help when she walked in to a rescuer's home one day. After searching for her family with no luck, we decided to help Lizzie find a new family who will keep her safe and loved.

Lizzie would LOVE to be someone's companion to be snuggled and doted on. She also loves to make friends with other dogs and would be an amazing addition to any family.

Here's what her foster family says:

Lizzy is a very sweet, loving, playful dog, who would truly do best with someone who loves to cuddle and share lots of affection with their dog. She loves playing with her toys, enjoys playing fetch, and will even swim to get her ball (she would do best with a little life jacket!). Lizzy gets along with her foster sister and any dog she encounters during her daily visit to the beach. She loves to run around and play chase with dogs or her people. She has a good amount of energy and would love regular long walks or runs with her owner. She walks great on a leash and does very well in her crate during the day (no accidents). Lizzy is learning doggy etiquette like how to stay and lay down, and her love for people and attention makes her a good little student. Lizzy is always happy, full of joy and would make a great lifelong companion.
