To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet sweet Poncho!

Poncho is an adorable shep/lab mix who's owner passed away on 12/2014, leaving poor Poncho an 'orphan' as his owners family didn't want to take him in....so they contacted ARWOB.

Poncho is currently in an emergency foster home who has had him since March, but he is mostly an outside dog. We would love for this guy to become an indoor/outdoor guy but we need a foster family who is willing to take him in and help him adjust; we believe it will be very easy as he is a very easy going type of guy.

Temperament:

Poncho is very friendly with people and he gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is learning to walk on a leash, but is not not housebroken since he mostly lives outdoors.
