To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Belly was rescued off the streets of Mexico when he was found being 'cuddled' by a dog on the sidewalk. We couldn't catch the dog, but Belly was easy to approach and rescue. He was extremely malnourished at 7 months and only 3 pounds: he was skin and bones and a very weak kitty.

Today Belly has a huge belly as he LOVES his food but is sitll gaining muscle mass in his hind legs and gaining weight as he is still a bit boney. 

Belly is the MOST calm, easy going in ANY situation kitty! He needs a home who will keep him safe from dangers as his 'reflex' is very slow and he would have no idea as to how to care for himself against a dog or any other dangers.

His mom describes him best as her little kitty SLOTH, a complete pacifist :)
