I adopted Lanie in May of 2014. Her name is now Piper which suits her well because she is full of character, energy, and life! She likes to fetch your shoes/ slippers the minute you walk in the door. She loves to chase birds (and yes, she caught one!), and play with my other dog, Louis, also a maltipoo (larger). They have become best of friends. At first, she didn't want anything to do with him but now they are inseparable. She still barks and gets upset when she sees other dogs in the street, and maybe it was her way of protecting herself from other dogs in the streets of Tijuana before. Piper has nicely settled in our home and is now a part of our family. We all love her so much! Thank you and I will keep supporting your organization. Thank you for all that you do!
Another update on Cooper (FKA Luka)... We of course love him to death. He has a new best friend - our new kitten. They really are best buddies...eating and sleeping and playing together all the time.
Our beautiful Olivia Aloha (formerly "Lucky Lady") is just over a year young, and is an absolute love. She's definitely become a member of our family!
It's been just over a year that we rescued Lady! She was the perfect fit for our family! Thanks ARWOB for the opportunity to rescue a loving pet!
