Sweetie Kitty (fka Meeko) was adopted from ARWOB in March 2020. Her new mom sent us this beautiful update about her. We are delighted to hear that she is enjoying life so much!
"I love my sweet little kitty - I changed her name to Sweetie Kitty--because she is! She follows me everywhere and plays, eats, and naps - then plays some more. After she had been at my house for a few days, she made herself right at home. She is an inside cat and loves keeping track of everything and everybody from the windows and sliding door. She's my little watch cat. My friends and neighbors think she is beautiful....and so does she. During these months of having to stay home , she is great company - keeps me smiling."
We received another wonderful update for an ARWOB alumni. Miss Money Penny was adopted from us in February 2020 and she is clearly enjoying her life with her furry friend Sophie.
Here is what her adoptive mom has to say about her: "Penny is very energetic and likes to explore every tiny space at home that she can squeeze in. We love her, and she purrs a lot so we guess she’s happy with us. There's one funny thing about Penny: she doesn’t meow like most cats. The way she “speaks” is more like a puppy! Maybe because she was friends with dogs in a foster home?"
Tilly (fka Mask) was adopted from ARWOB in January 2020. Her adoptive family shared this awesome "pupdate" with us. It sure sounds like Tilly is enjoying a wonderful and adventurous life with them!
"Our little girl is doing great and is “besties” with Nala our 8 yr old chihuahua. She is just under 10 pounds, is a constant companion to all of us, and enjoys walks and paddle board rides. Although she was thought to be a Jack Russell-chihuahua mix, she appears all Toy Fox Terrier now. She is a great addition to our family!"
May was adopted from ARWOB in December 2016 and her adoptive mom just shared this photo with us. She is living a happy life!
Lupin (fka Mack) is doing great in his new adoptive home! He was adopted earlier this month (June 2020) and here is what his adoptive mom has to say:
"It’s going SO WELL!!! He’s adjusting super quickly, he’s so smart, and according to Dr. Cardeiro he’s a healthy weight now! He officially knows “sit”, “come” and “in-in” to go into his crate. We’re now working on “stay” and “lay down.” He’s getting pretty good with house training! Accidents only happened the first three days. We’re 6 days accident free now :) He’s definitely teething, but we’re keeping him occupied with puppy ropes, Kong’s, and puppy teething treats. No destroyed personal property, yet... His ears have started to relax down, and are no longer sticking straight up. They only do that when he’s on alert now, haha. Also he just learned that he can go up and down the stairs by himself (the first week they were a little scary for him), and he and Lily our cat are getting along pretty well. Lily “tolerates” him, and he LOVES her Hahahaha. We’re very thankful for him, he’s brought nothing but joy to our lives."
