"We adopted Daisy from ARWOB in early February 2015. It took her a little while to get used to us and her new surroundings, which were probably a huge change for her considering what her life must have been like in Mexico. She has brought so much joy and happiness into our home. The first thing my family asks when they walk in the door is "Where is Daisy?". She is the sweetest, well-behaved, trusting, and most gentle dog, despite her big 70-lb size! In fact, one of my neighbors was attacked by a dog as a toddler and is deathly afraid of dogs. However, she is NOT afraid of Daisy and will interact with her--that's how gentle Daisy is. We are so glad that ARWOB rescued our baby girl and that she's now part of our family!"
Hope all is well with you and all the ARWOB friends. I wanted to check in with you and tell you how well we have been doing. Quincy (FKA Bono) has graduated from his private lessons to small groups at the trainers house. He is learning so much. He has also grown to be such a big boy! He is much taller than Niko and Alesha. It makes me happy he has a big yard to run around in and explore. Thank you again for your patience and support. We love these pups!
Orejas' new name is Dorito and he is doing well. We relocated to Austin, TX 3 years ago for school. I just graduated two weeks ago and we are getting ready for another big move to Michigan. He's been great these last 4 years and we love him very much.
We just wanted to give you a little update on Rosa (FKA Bailey) who we adopted at your adoption drive (3/5/2016). She has settled in well and found her voice :) She walks at least twice a day with longer ones on the weekend. Her first vacation was a camping trip where she enjoyed rolling around in the dirt. She has lots of toys to play with because her grandma spoils her. Whatever is in her toy basket, she's allowed to chew, tug or fling around! It has been pretty easy to train her so far - she can sit, lie down, and twirl. We are working on 'quiet'! When she wants our attention, she likes to blatantly steal a stray slipper or random item of clothing and throw it! We love her very much and when people ask where she's from, we always tell her about your agency. Thank you for rescuing Rosa and giving us the chance to give her a furever home :)
