"Miss Genie is doing great. She has been to four training classes and is doing great. She walks PERFECTLY on a leash right at my side. We are now working on "stay"...she doesn't like it, but she is doing it. She is VERY smart and, like you said, wants to please. The trainer said she is "challenging", but will get it with practice. She is able to go off leash at the dog park. I take her to the side with the older and more quiet dogs. She still doesn't like the big dog side with all the commotion. She runs like crazy and plays nicely. We took her to OB dog beach last weekend. She LOVED it and did GREAT! She seemed so exceited that she didn't know what to do with herself....running in the water, playing with other dogs. At the park and at the beach, she comes right away when we call her name. Thank you again for all you do for animals." -Heather
"All is well with Manny and Cece. We absolutely love them. They are both the sweetest cats. Both are very playful and outgoing - Cece loves to hunt her toys and bring them into us all proud. Both love to cuddle up on a warm nap and sleep the evening away. Manny has a special blanket that he loves to sleep on, but not before kneading into it several hundred times. Both cats are good friends with Floyd the dog, and I have come home several times to find either Manny or Cece in his bed!" -Kate Streams

Mickey, Minnie, AND Elphie, ARWOB rescues, in their new home TOGETHER as the most wonderful little companions ever. They are most definitely full of love and mischief. Thank you Vicky for looking past their 'looks' and seeing how perfect those kittens (now adult kittens) really are. Did you know that Black cats and Black dogs are the less adoptable pets just because of their looks?! PLEASE, adopt a black cat today they are THE most gorgeous and lovable kitties ever! You will have a perfect feline companion! Vicky would vouch for that!
