Update on Monster from his new mom:
Over the summer he really seemed like he needed a buddy. He would peek out of the window when we left for school and work in the mornings and cry like he didn't want us to leave. :o( it was so sad! ... so we adopted a tabby kitten from some friends of our who had a litter in June. We brought the new little guy home and it only took Mister 3 days to be total buddies with him (new kitty Luigi). Now they are totally joined at the hip. Mister washes the kittens face. Plays with him... and they sleep together. Mister will even let the kitten pretend nurse or make muffins on him. They are so sweet together. I thought you would like to know they are all doing great! Oh, and I took Mister in for a check up at the vet when I was taking the kitten in for all of his shots, and the doctor said he was a beautiful cat and that he could maybe stand to loose a bit of weight. He does love to eat! So we cut back a little on his food and he is doing better.
Here's what Babe's new parents have said about their addition: Babe( we call him Benny now- Benito del Toro) is the light of our life and we love love love him so much. He has brought joy to our house and we can't imagine a better dog ever. Here is a picture of him in his "office" bed. He goes with me or Gigi everywhere and we love to have play dates with other dogs at the park and the beach.
Scout, now Leo, living his life happily in his new forever home along with his new little sister, Lily, a previous ARWOB rescue. This dynamic duo enjoys each and everyday which each other and are simply grateful that they were able to be adopted together.
Magdalena, Benny's new owner, wrote: "We are so glad and thankful that we got the opportunity to meet a great new friend. He is a really really big ball of joy and loves to run around, then throwing himself on the ground when he gets tired. he is really good at learning new things, he comes when he is called for and lays down, and sits when we tell him too. When its time for him to go to bed he lays down in his bed and my kids cover him with his blanket and he goes to sleep. Benny is getting really well along with our two parakeets, our cockatiel, and our turtle and loves playing with other dogs. We are glad that we brought Benny into our home because he just has a warm feeling when we are around him."
Tiko, now Riley has some good news to report about his new family and forever home. Riley’s getting all prepped for a nice healthy life already. He has had his microchipped verified and, in addition, he is now licensed in Pasadena. Of course, Riley also has had his first visit to the vet where he's getting the in's and out's of him checked out for any possible worms. What’s more exciting is that Riley will soon begin obedience classes at the beginning of August where he will learn all the basics of good manners. A huge plus! Riley and his family are getting well accustomed with each other and are learning to go on proper walks. Pack leader first with Riley following closely at the side. Way to go! Riley’s on the right track as his new family “leads” him into a nice happy life. His new parents should be proud of him.
