Taz (fka Napster) was adopted in June 2023 by one of our ARWOB fosters. As the saying goes, Taz was a "foster failure," which means his foster mom fell in love with him and couldn't imagine not making him a permanent part of her family. He has a big canine brother named Apollo and they get along great. We are so happy for Taz! Here is the update that his adoptive mom sent to us:
"Napster is doing great! His new name is Taz! Since he was a foster fail it was an easy transition. He is such a happy and friendly boy and all our friends and neighbors who had met him previously were so excited to hear the news he would be staying. He absolutely adores his 80lb Pyrenees mix brother Apollo and loves playing with him. He has started going on training palk walks and has gone hiking a few times as well. I love going on road trips and camping with my dogs and we are planning a camping trip for the fall which I'm sure he'll love. After losing my first dog last year who was an ARWOB alumn I am proud to now have another."
Tito was adopted in June 2023 and his adoptive family shared this sweet "pupdate" with us. He is really living the life with his new family!
"Tito is thriving and doing well. He and I have been going to a group basic training and have been practicing loose leash walking daily and he is slowly getting that he should not pull to get crows, rabbits or squirrels. He has become attached to my husband and me so that if one of us leaves, he whimpers a bit. He loves laying down next to us on the couch when we watch TV. ARWOB's crate training him has been very helpful and we've kept up with his crating when we need to run an errand and for bedtime. He is starting to develop self control when it comes to chewing and has started chewing more on his chew toys than things he's not supposed to chew on like socks and sofa covers. His socialization is going well with the daily walks, daycare 4 hrs a week, and dog park or dog beach once a week. He also has his cousin Eddie, another rescue, come over a few times a week and they run around in the backyard. He's easy going but playful with other dogs and likes all humans though we're working on jumping to greet or play with them. Tito is quite goofy. He plops himself down with such force and we love seeing him gallop into the waves at the beach. He's pretty fearless and very curious though now he's starting to be unsure of the vaccuum cleaner. He is relaxed at the vet's office. One dog owner commented that he's the only dog she had seen that's relaxed at the vet's office (he was laying down on his side on the floor). Another owner said she's never seen a dog so happy to be there (at that time he was actually happily sitting up). Hopefully he'll continue this attitude (our previous 2 dogs were afraid of being at the vet's). We drop him off once a month for a "happy visit" that his vet encourages. The visit lasts about 5 minutes where the vet staff take him to the back, give him treats and loving; then we go home. Thank you ARWOB for rescuing our Tito. He brings lots of laughter and much joy!"
Rocky and Roy were adopted together in June of 2022. They waited a long time to find their forever home and it looks like they hit the jackpot! Their adoptive mom shared this cute photo with us. She told us that both the kitties are very playful and love to snuggle together. They are in good health and she said they could not imagine life without them. Wonderful!

Molly (fka Zelda) was adopted in July 2022. Her adoptive mom sent us this sweet "pupdate" about her. She is living her best life!
"She is amazing. Still has lots of energy and has decided she is the boss. Luckily Mongo let's her take the lead. They are happy. I will send a photo. Thank you for saving her so that we could have the chance to adopt her."
