Bobby

Handsome Bobby's adoption was finalized in March 2023 after going on a foster-to-adopt trial in February with a family that has adopted many kitties from ARWOB in the past.  We are always thrilled when a repeat adopter comes back to ARWOB to adopt another one of our rescues!  Here is what Bobby's adoptive mom has to say about the situation.  He is BFFs with Saint, an ARWOB alumni and it sounds like it's a perfect match:

"We adopted Bobby in the middle of February, 2023. It was the best thing we could have done. He is sweet, loving and really playful. He loves to cuddle and sit in laps. Which is what we wanted. We had adopted Saint in the beginning of July 2022. He is really sweet and loving and has more energy than our older cats. He drove them crazy, so when we brought home Bobby everyone was relieved. Saint and Bobby are best friends and keep each other busy. The older cats play with them when they want, and then are left alone when they are done playing. Bobby is pretty big and it is funny to see him play like a kitten (which he is). Bobby is huge and Saint is kind of small so they make a funny looking couple of friends."

Cilantro

Sweet Cilantro was adopted in March 2023.  We received some adorable photos and a wonderful "pupdate" from his adoptive mom.  Here is what she had to say about him:

"Cilantro has been doing well. He has grown so much since we adopted him. He has learned tricks, such as sit, down, stay, stand, high five and so on. We also started going to weekly puppy training a couple of weeks ago and he shines in the class. He goes to the bay a couple of times every week to play. This week, he played with bay water for the first time and enjoyed it. We are so lucky and happy to have him in the family and he has brought so many laughters and smile to us. Thank you again for checking in!"

Patrick

Sweet and energetic Patrick was adopted in March 2023.  We received this "purrfect" update from his adoptive mom.  Here is what she has to say about him:

"Thanks for checking in! Patrick is doing great. He’s just as advertised! His recent foster mom checks in every now and then to see how he’s doing. He is super chatty, always wants attention/pets, always wants to play, and is great with new people. Once he got home, it only took him a couple hours to warm up to me and get comfortable. He has so much energy and likes to do zoomies at 3 or 4AM haha. Patrick follows me everywhere I go and doesn’t leave me alone. Any movement I make, he’s up and ready to go. Sometimes he’ll snuggle up when I’m watching TV, whether it’s in my lap or under the blankets. And he just found out he loves pillow forts! He loves napping inside them."

Mango

Mango has finally found his forever home after a rather tough journey!  Mango and his brother were adopted together as kittens back in July 2015.  In August of 2021, ARWOB received a call from the San Diego Humane Society stating that the 2 ginger boys were relinquished to them because their family was "moving."  We immediately took them back into our care.  The boys eventually adjusted to being back with us and in November 2021, Mango was adopted by another family.  However, he was relinquished back to ARWOB in November 2022, a whole year after being adopted the 2nd time, because he supposedly didn't get along with the adopter's other cat.  Thankfully he found his "purrfect" forever home in February 2023 and his new adoptive mom has said he's doing great!  Here is what she has to say about Mango:

"Mango is doing so great! We just love him to pieces. He is settling into the home with all his new toys. He is so affectionate, playful, and smart. Here are a couple of photos of him with his toys and cat tree. We are so thankful to have him in our lives. Thank you!"

Tita

Juno (fka Tita) was adopted in February 2023.  We are happy to report that she is living her best life with her new family!  Her adoptive mom shared this sweet "pupdate" with us:

"Thank you so much for checking in! We have renamed Tita to Juno, and we are all completely in love with this sweet dog! This is our first time having a puppy (several adult dogs previously), so we are learning right along with her. She is so smart, fun, energetic, and just the sweetest. We are really so happy to have her. We are also so grateful to the many foster families that took her in before we found her. I have done some online training with her, which has been helpful. We will likely begin some more one-on-one training with her once she is closer to 6 months old, but we have not had any concerns with her whatsoever. She really is a special pup to us. I attached some photos of us and Juno, so feel free to share them! Thank you again so much!"
