We received a lovely "pupdate" about Katara (fka Harper), who was adopted from ARWOB in May 2020. This wonderful family had also adopted Finnegan the kitty from us back in September 2014. Repeat adopters are awesome! Here is what their adoptive Dad had to say:
"My fiancé and I adopted Harper (we renamed her Katara). Katara is doing great! She’s grown to a small/medium sized dog weighing in at 38lbs which is perfect for our current living arrangements. Despite her small stature, she is pretty strong and a loyal little protector. She’s also a little sweetheart! She gets along great with our cat, Finnegan (also adopted from ARWOB in Sept of 2014) and even if he pretends not to like her, we have caught them snuggling together a number of times. Due to the restrictions throughout the shutdown, we were not able to get her any professional or coached training. However, I was working from home and spent a lot of time teaching her basic commands and house manners. Considering she had such informal training and socialization, she behaves very well and gets along great with other dogs. My fiancé has been working at a dog groomer’s for the last few months and Katara gets to go along and hang with the other shop dogs as well as their clients' dogs. They’re kind of their own little pack (LOL). Thanks for reaching out and more importantly thanks for doing the incredible work that you do!"

Here are some great photos that we received of Jubilee (fka Maddie) who was adopted from ARWOB in March 2016. She is living the life of fun and adventure!
Kona (fka Stella) was adopted from ARWOB in February 2021. She is doing great in her new home! Here is what her adoptive family has to say:
"Our pup (renamed Kona) is a wonderful addition! She is FANTASTIC with our toddler and even seems to have brought the “puppy” out of our older dog. She is smaller than we expected. The vet estimates that she will be less than 40 pounds. We love her and we are appreciative of all that you do!"
We have another lovely update from an adoptive family! Snowball (fka as Leona) was adopted from ARWOB in April 2020. She is enjoying her new family and they seem to love her to pieces! Here is what her adoptive mom has to say:
"Leona (now known as Snowball) has completed our family. She is the sweetest cat I have ever owned. We already had another cat, named Shadow, that was a tad on the grumpy side. Snowball quickly won him over and they are the best of friends. Snowball always wants to be with somebody. When Shadow needs his alone time, she seeks out one of us to be with. She even follows me around the house when I am doing laundry or other chores. She loves being carried and even asks for belly rubs. Snowball does have a naughty side. She has been known to steal food right off of our plate during dinner if we turn away for even a second. We have even found her on the stove licking an empty pot. But we can never get mad at that sweet face. We are so happy to have found ARWOB and Snowball."
