Meet Bennett!
Bennett is a very handsome boy (and he knows it!) Bennett is a black lab mix and loves to play in the yard. He is the perfect medium size with a very athletic and svelte look to him he is full grown but not quite 40 lbs, just under.
He gets along GREAT with other dogs; infact, he is used to having other pups to play with and he would be a fantastic big or little brother to another canine companion. Bennett would be a great addition to a household with another dog or as an only fur kid. This pup is great with people, other dogs, and even cats! He enjoys car rides and is crate trained.
He needs an adopter who will be active and include him in outdoor activities like hikes, runs, frisbee, dog parks, etc. Now, its not too say he is highly energetic because he is not. He is just a happy go lucky dog who loves to cuddle and play. But he can be very mellow and takes many many naps. He also is very quiet and easy in his crate so he is great for an adopter with a normal 9-5 schedule where Bennett will need to be in his crate while parents are away at work and when they are back they can enjoy a nice run or dog park outting.
Bennett lives in a foster home with 2 larger dogs and a family who have a 10yr old daugther whom he adores. He loves to go for walks and does very well in the home. He still needs work on his leash manners and overall dog obedience like stay, heal, etc. BUT once he is adopted and attending dog training he is smart as a whip and will learn fast.
